Stuff the Hygiene Bus

Help us Stuff the Bus with essential hygiene items and non-perishables to support local schools!

United Way of Licking County (UWLC) is excited to pilot Hygiene Hubs in Licking County high schools. We will provide stand-alone cupboards stocked with essential hygiene items to four high schools: Newark City, Heath City, North Fork, and Licking Valley Schools. These schools were chosen due to their high ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) demographics. Working families in this demographic struggle to provide food, shelter, transportation, and basic essentials such as deodorant, shampoo, and soap. Studies show that lack of access to basic necessities is a leading cause of chronic absenteeism. For these children, lost school time means lost learning time, which can hinder their academic success. Your support helps us to keep the hub stocked with these necessary items.
